Fly Fishers of the Bitterroot
Hamilton, Montana

More Gravel Boss! Where do you want this placed?

The Fly Fishers of the Bitterroot's sponsored Appleberry put-in site improvement project on the Westfork of the Bitterroot river got off the drawing board and onto the river bank.

After may hours working with the Forest Service, Fish Wildlife & Parks and other agencies, getting the necessary permits, the actual site work began. To get the ball rolling, the Forest Service removed the old tree that was making the site very difficult to use.  Gravel was donated by Chip Pigman and loaded into FFB member's trucks and one trailer to be transported to the Appleberry put-in site. The gravel was unloaded and roughly placed at the site  The Forest Service did the final placement of the materials, and the improved Applerberry site was ready for use.

Cliff, better keep an eye on Kathy and Bob before they bury you!!
